Frequently Asked Questions

When are you open? Can I come visit a class?

Our new season begins on Monday, August 12th.
During the season Still Pointe is open Monday through Thursday from 3:30pm-8pm and on Saturdays from 10:15am-1pm. We have desk staff happy to assist you Monday through Thursday.

If you are interested in taking a trial class, you may email us to set up the best time to do so.

What is a ballet season? Can I join at any time?

Ballet education functions along the same schedule as an academic year. We start classes in mid-August and run through late May/early June.

Due to the fact that we are a training studio, students coming from other sports or time off may not simply join at any time of the year.  At every level, we teach ballet from a syllabus that builds skill and knowledge throughout the year. Around the end of October or beginning of November we usually close classes because the students have learned a lot of material.

Students who have been studying at another studio during the year should contact us about joining late.

How often are payments due?

Our season begins at the end of August and concludes at the end of May/beginning of June

Can I leave my child at the studio and go run errands?

Yes! During class time, parents are more than welcome to go run errands or take a few blessed minutes to grab a coffee and breathe! However, we strongly recommend that children under the age of 8 be attended by a parent or guardian when not in class. The studio does not open until 3:15pm each week day.

What are some important dates I should know about?

Please check our Online Calendar for the most up to date schedule.

Where can I purchase dance attire?

Though we love Target for many things, dance attire should be bought from dance retailers. Trusted dancewear brands include Eurotard, Capezio, Bloch, and So Danca.

You may receive a discount and help our studio by entering the following teacher referral code when placing an order at www.DiscountDance.com : TP53780

Can I study at multiple studios?

While Ballet is standardized, there are also different methodologies and schools of thought within the art form. Conflicting teaching styles, techniques, and philosophies can confuse a student and slow their progress. For this reason, students should only study at multiple places with the expressed permission of their director.
